turned into The SAM Zone!

Hello, my name is Ellen, and I'm on a mission to bring a little more joy to our community.

Some of my best memories were made at the local roller skating rink where I grew up, but as a mom, I realized our area was missing a similar place for my daughter and other young people.

I couldn't help but feel our community was missing a safe, fun, and affordable space for young people, families, and adults to come together. The closest roller rink was almost an hour and a half away — a drive I couldn't comfortably imagine my daughter making as a teenager. This is where the idea for The SAM Zone (Skating, Arcade, and Mini Golf) was born.

The more I talked to people — from parents at the park to local business owners — the more I realized this wasn't just my desire; it was a shared dream. A place where schools and youth groups could have safe outings, where families could spend quality time together, and where people of all ages could celebrate special moments like birthdays and reunions.
